Hi,

I have a node that is displaying strange behaviour.

On sliding the node in it seems fine.

Booting sometimes reports no BMC found and no BMC version is shown in the BIOS.
Booting sometimes reports the BMC is there and is version 1.32.

Access to the bios and during boot is very slow. Bios page changes will take up to 5+ seconds but then it will seem to catchup. It is almost like it is caching to disk if it were an OS.

The node will reboot at different points but, without actually timing it, I would guess around about the same amount of time after power on.

After a short time the node status light will start to flash orange.

Initial thoughs were overheating but the two other nodes in the unit run fine and I have re-applied the TIM to the heatsinks for both CPUs just in case that was an issue.

My only other thought at this point is bad ram (24GB is installed). Guess a bad CPU is also a possibility.

Anyone come across this sort of behaviour before ?.

Thanks
RB
