For a C6100, I would try to get a box from a Proliant 2U server, like a DL380. A comparable Dell server box would also work. Know anyone who works in a datacenter environment that can get you one?

Heavy foam. Do not bubble wrap. The other idea is that there are places that have the injection foam. I wonder if you could find a local shop to do it for you?

BTW - where are you colo'ing at? Also are you northern CA or southern?

If you are in the Dallas there are a bunch of the used IT guys out there. I would bet one does.

I was looking at this today, if you scroll down it says they do (but in Michigan) Palo Alto Networks PA 2050 Firewall PA 2050 4291 | eBay (just an example)

Also - any reason for not going with something like colounlimited? I have always thought about doing their single box colo special.

Some ups stores have injection packing. Bit of a high price but it's pretty easy to get an insurance claim paid when they packed and shipped it, lol.
