Should there be a "dual" in there?

Final Words

From a performance perspective, it is hard for us to recommend the Intel Xeon Silver 4112 over the Intel Xeon Silver 4112.

@T_Minus That is what happens when I get an upgrade notification from United while writing the last paragraph of a review.

I always thought the Silver 4112 to be rather pointless. The 4110 at the same price point is a much better deal, or the 4114 for $200 more which I consider the 'sweet spot' in the Intel Silver range as far as the price / performance / power consumption equation is concerned (hence I bought it myself).

If the number of cores are a restraint due to software licensing costs, you'll likely opt for a much more powerful CPU anyway. Plus, single core performance isn't even an advantage in this case, as all Intel Silver Xeons have a maximum turbo of 3 GHz.
