I have two non-poe and one poe in a stack. It has worked with every SFP+/DAC I have tried so far. That is a pretty good deal especially if it provides enough 10GbE capacity. The 5524p runs a little louder than I would want near where I work but it isn't crazy loud. Shouldn't be surprising considering it is a POE switch. GUI is decent and the CLI is easy enough to adapt to.

Yeah my non-POE one are actually Patricks old ones. Bought them from him about a year ago. Then picked up the POE on Ebay for about $100 for a single and that was a steal at the time. Good deal and as long as it provides the ports you need you should be happy.
