can't get intel quicksync to work on a SuperMicro motherboard (X11SSH-LN4F) with E3-1245 v6
The O/S is Ubuntu 18.04, I tried both with stock drivers and updated drivers (
ppa
ibaf/graphics-drivers) but the result is the same: after encoding a few frames, the system freezes.
We're using the simple "h264encode" application distributed with intel/libva-utils
Can't tell if it's a kernel / motherboard / CPU issue, the system is simply frozen.
Console is visible but not usable, it does not show anything
Any idea?
