I have a security camera connected to an unmanaged poe switch (Steamo B0899NR75K 10 Ports|120W 8xPoE+) about 75 feet from the PC room.
It then runs to a managed switch (Mokerlink B0CNT165R6 4*2.5G Managed).
From there the plan is to connect to a Debian Server PC running Docker-Frigate nvr.
Question: If I connect the camera->switch line to one of the four 2.5g ports on the Mokerlink, do I connect the LAN from the router to another of the 2.5g ports (so that the Frigate box continues to have network access), and then use one of the 10g ports to connect to the Frigate box?
Thanks!
EDIT: I just removed the caps on the 10g ports and looked inside and discovered that they aren't RJ45 at all but some sort of 10-pin connector I've never seen before. Sigh. I'll return these and get a different model.
