I'm spec'ing out a new server at work and I'm going to network it via SFP28. I've historically always used Intel for my network cards and have been happy, but I'm curious if Broadcom is worth considering. Pricing is about the same, so performance and driver support is the big 2 factors I'm looking at.
This server will be a small but high speed flash based file server running Server 2022. I'll also be buying/building a similar one down the road running Debian, so I'm also curious which network card is better supported in Linux.
