Anyon know how to hack the esxi nvidia driver to support more cards?

Grid, quadro 6000,5000, 4000 only now.

need to use with regular cards.

Folks have hacked regular cards into GRID using resistor mod and bios mod.

And used regular cards with svga on esxi 5.1.

Esxi currently just starts x windows and everything is cool svga works.

The drivers are selective to the board ID/bios id but when presented with a 620/640/680 card modified work quite fine.

Seems like it might be easier to make a custom change to the driver? Is that possible?

you can't even use the k4000 now, which makes a company i consult for very not happy since they just ordered 3 of them...

Yeah nifty thing is you can easily move the lowest 4 bits of the pci-id on fermi cards using software only (soft-strapping).

Going to give a gtx470 to 4000 a shot today. If it works for the esxi/xen/hyper-v driver that would rock
