Got the 6805 working on server 2022.
Install the latest driver for the 6805 and also maxview storage manager.
installed ok, drives detected.
Reboot the system and get device failed to start error.
Found disabling and re-enabling the device in device manager fixed the issue and the drives are available.
create a new powershell script and paste this into it:

Get-PnpDevice -FriendlyName "*Adaptec*" | Disable-PnpDevice -Confirm:$false -erroraction 'silentlycontinue'
Get-PnpDevice -FriendlyName "*Adaptec*" | Enable-PnpDevice -Confirm:$false -erroraction 'silentlycontinue'

save this to a location you can remember. e.g c:\restart_adaptec.ps1
Create a scheduled task to run at startup whether user is logged on or not and set it to run powershell.exe and in the arguments section put -file "c:\restart_adaptec.ps1"
save.
should be fixed, will still give an error in event log, ignore.

But if the goal of a raid card is to be safe with your data, isn't this the anti-thesis of safety?
