OMG I wish I lived in the Americas right now, that is a steal of a deal @ $4.75 / GB! However where I live with shipping and customs it gets kinda pricey...

At the moment the 8GB ECC Kingston sticks here in Europe are around 60€ (~$66) new.

Shipping is only around US$30. You could try a third party shipping site in USA like 'shipito'.
But tax is significant at around US$220 :-(

(Supermicro list M393B1K70CH0-CH9 not M393B1K70CHD-CH9.)
Looking at labels, seems that Samsung make both versions (i.e. not a typo on EBay description)

or c6100 motherboard?

That digit is an indicator of the PCB revision.

No "D" revision is listed, but I'd doubt there would be a problem if this is the only difference... Pure guess though
