CSE-113 @ less than $200 - intriguing.
CSE-113 UIO version - not so much...
Tough call. Listing is missing a lot of specifics on the chassis - PSU model #s, no info on drive caddies, etc.
Could be a great deal. Could be a money pit before you get it usable. Hard to tell from the listing.
Hmm. Rethinking after looking more...
The chassis has redundant PSU. Not sure SM ever sold anything but a 500W Platinum and 700 W Platinum in this configuration. So PSUs are probably good, efficient, quiet. A guess - but likely.
Checked and rear-window can be changed to convert from UIO to standard. There is a seller on eBay with the part for $10, free shipping. So UIO is no problem.
Recent eBay sales on that MB, used with heatsinks, suggests you'd get ~$75 without much trouble. UIO SAS card would probably get $25-40. So something like $100 after expenses recovered on resale.
So - a CSE-113 full-depth chassis, no rails, redundant PSU configuration (unknown if 500W or 700W) for ~$160 net ($200 + $58 shipping - $100 sold parts). Maybe not a bad deal at all.
