Thanks, did not even know I needed more disks ;)

Now, I just need to get a SAS3 controller, what is the cheapest IT-capable controller? A M1215?

M1215 I see used around $100 new intel or supermicro branded 3008 based cards about $200

Can always use more ssd ;) (says the man who has more than enough SSD storage...

Whew...GLAD I got over that phase! haha
Also over it.... (simply have what I need) but I have 25+ TB SSD, I store everything except backups on SSD, they got cheap enough and big enough that it made senses to keep the primary and replica on SSD, less power & heat and a lot faster. I don't have a huge media library like some people here, I tend to stream Netflix, Hulu, etc and if I download unless it's something I really want to keep I taught myself to watch and delete. Was not always like that but I figured what's the point keeping TB's of media I will never watch again.

Half my SSD is Samsung pm863 sata, the rest is SAS3 but actually I would swap SAS3 for sata to be honest.

Thanks, I ended up getting a M5210 for 75USD (112 w. shipping and VAT), without a bracket though but those are cheap ;)
