Im 99% sure that you can use the internal sata ports to boot a truenas software raid. Not so sure that you can connect the sas backplane to the sata ports. I would connect the boot drives directly to sata ports and leave the backplane for data disks.
If you want to do the intervlan routing on the ICX you will only have a transit vlan between your pfsense and ICX thus pfsense will not have direct contact with the vlans to serve DHCP. Therefor you will have to find an other way to serve DHCP which are vlan aware. I dont remember what the...
You could also just use a free Microsoft, Google or Dropbox account, if it's not too much data or very sensitive data it's the cheapest and best solution imo.
