The managed switch being sold by Xike (brand Seeker) has low power consumption, similar to the unmanaged 8+1 switches that were reviewed by STH. I currently have all 9 ports connected (most are <6 ft connections in length with one 50 ft connection on a 2.5 Gbps port)

To create a trunk port, you need to:
-Make the port a Tagged member of all the VLANs you want it to carry
-Keep the default values in 802.1Q VID for that port
I didn't find it that slow, the only sluggish part for me is the refresh of the graphical display of the port connection status.
