    Just curious about U.2/U.3 drives in general, do they really pull 5-8W idle with even ASPM L0/L1 states enabled? M.2s idle bellow 1W with ASPM enabled. Anyone can confirm/deny this?

    @josh I got the Asus Strix B650E-E Wifi yesterday, and I would issue correction and apologize. Board does not have split x8/x8. It's PCIE 5.0 16x or x8/x4/x4 for M.2 slot split. You will have to look at X670 boards. Technically nothing forbids that except intentional product segmentation.

    @josh I just ordered this board for my AM5 gaming build. Doesnt support ECC, so keep that in mind.
