I have 8 arriving today. Will start to badblock them (will take a few weeks as can only do them sequentially).
Fingers crossed as I don't plan to use the drives until mid-summer and don't want to wait testing until then,.
Recently bought a 833T-653B and X9DRL-IF, (and to replace a e3-1240v2).
I would like to drop in a couple of e5-2697v2's and a medium spec GFX card, but I'm concerned about whether the 650W PSU would cope.
The PSU (PWS-652-2H) in the 833T-653B is a little weird in that it looks externally...
I've bought almost all of my homelab from these guys. Great to deal with and good server. I'm reasonably local so have always will-call'ed pickup up my server.
I'm buying one for the first time with the sole intent of NOT shucking it. (External backups that go in the fire safe.) My existing 8TB and 5TB externals are full.
I managed to juggle applying the PICKFAST to a sellers "offer", and at the same time getting them to remove delivery as I would "will call".
In the end saved nearly $100 between the 5% with the offer, and 15% from PICKFAST and then 9% back on from CA tax
I requested some info on a Mobo version, and then Seller (server reseller I bought from in the past), sent me an offer which was just 5% off. Looks like I cannot apply the 15% off code as well as the seller's Offer.
