    jpmomo: Agree 100%. The ARECA cards are based on the same Broadcom chip ( SAS3916 ) as the LSI 9560-series cards, and I wish they were full PCI 4.0 x16 cards.

    PCIe 4.0 HBA's?

    For some reason it keeps getting detected as "potentially spam" even though I am a human being... so I created an account. Hopefully that will let me ask :) I want an LSI card for FreeNAS that will last a while, and that'd be a 9500 series card. Would love to see some benchmarks before I buy...
