Yes. I bought a ch341a usb flasher ($15?), popped out the bios chip, then flashed the latest bios from hp.

EXPIRED (US) - Oh look, hell just froze over - HP t740 thin clients are back below 400 USD (375 to 400, Wifi/BT or not)

I ended up buying one of these. Confirmed: Win 10 iot is installed. WiFi + Bluetooth included. Bios is accessible, and slot is enabled. (This was not the case on the t730, which needed a custom bios flashed). Cables were still a wrapped w/ ties, looks brand new. Box had a huge gouge, maybe...

WTS HP T740 $320 shipped. 32GB RAM (2x 16gb 2400Mhtz CL17) WiFi No SSD included. I'd be up for taking PayPal or local cash in Los Angeles (though I'm fussy about local pickup; I'd rather the hassle of shipping honestly). Willing to negotiate a bit and update prices if people can point out...

    Crazy 100GbE adapter for $100

Thank you. I can't seem to find in the spec: could I run a 2m DAC / copper? Or is it fiber only? Also, does anyone know if I need to plug in both pci cards? Or would I be able to plug in just the main one and have reduced bandwidth (or some other missing feature)?

    Crazy 100GbE adapter for $100

10 Intel NUC's + 5 Nvidia Jetson TK1's Mini PC 1u Single Board Computer Array

Seems the Jetsons normally go for $50, so probably parting out could be profitable. Not sure about the nucs... Probably need to 3d print a case at the very least.

HP T730 8GB RAM 32GB Storage Thin Client

Yep, my point is: you cannot use just *any* power supply. It has to be hp, because it it needs the power on the center pin.

HP T730 8GB RAM 32GB Storage Thin Client

I wanted to make it known: the HP power supply with these is special. It has a Smart Pin in the center, which has voltage on it (which is nonstandard). You can bypass this to use any psu by jumping the connection inside the case, on the jack itself. A small piece of wire connecting the pin lead...

    Intel DC P3520 SSDPE2MX012T7 1.2TB PCIe 3.0 NVME U.2 SSD Warranty 2022 $99.95

Easiest is a u.2 to m.2 converter,or if you have a spare pci slot, u.2 to pci-e. AFAIK, u.2 is just a form factor, like m.2. Both are electrically just pcie x4.
