This is from the 6012.
The reason I have two mac is because ifconfig (when booting from /dev/mtdblock6) reports 2 interfaces:

on your first boot, is your device named localhost? and can you immediately log in admin/admin? I wondering if the mddbreq commands aren't taking. Do I need to add quotes to the strings? also is cd ing into the dir and doing ./mddbreq ok?

im not getting an IB link with my linux box.. If I plug my linux box into a different "dumb" switch I get a link.
