eBay MPO cable question

I recently received 2 MPO cables from a friend to connect switches together using QSFP+ transceivers, but they are unable to connect because one end is male and the other is female. I found the following cable on e-bay and I wanted to see if anyone knows if this would work since I can't tell from the description if the pin-out is correct.

Does anyone know if the above cable would work for my application?

no, you need key up to key up fiber, aka Type B. You can howevr convert that key up to key down to key up/key up with a paperclip https://forums.servethehome.com/ind...gbe-40gbe-switching.21107/page-23#post-201367

Thank you! That's great! I ended up following the video instructions to remove the male pins on my existing cable and convert it to Type B. The cable is working well and I now have my Arista 7050T connected to my ICX 6610 at 40Gbps.
