Hey all,

I now have one too many of these so selling one off to make them all uniform.

I currently have a DL325 Gen10 shipping box for this.

Spec:
  • System: HPE ProLiant DL325 Gen10 SFF 8x 2.5" chassis
  • CPU: AMD EPYC 7351P
  • RAM: 16GB DDR4-2666 (HPE brand) - 2x 8GB modules
  • SAS: HPE Smart Array E208i-a SR Gen10
  • Network: HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331i Adapter (4-port 1GbE embedded)
  • PSU: 1x HPE 500W Flex PSU
  • HPE rails included
  • No drives
$1300 shipped in the US. Hoping to sell before having to recycle the shipping box.

It is installed right now with 128GB (8x 16GB) and 2x 960GB Samsung SATA drives and idling with Proxmox at 103-105W. Note, extra RAM and drives will be removed.

If we can transfer the warranty, it should have ~2 years left on it.

My thought is that this is much less expensive than someone piecing together their own. CPU, RAM, and SAS controller alone sell for over $1000.

No DVD drive unfortunately. Just 8x empty 2.5" SFF bays.

Can these servers cool hot SAS drives like those Micron's and Toshiba's?

Quick update. I had this note in there:

RAM: 16GB DDR4-2666 (HPE brand) - note, I cannot remember if this was 2x 8GB or 1x 16GB

Confirmed today it is indeed 2x8GB DDR4-2666

Dropped price a bit.

~$800 for the 7351P
~$100 for the RAM
~$150 for the E208i-a SAS HBA (that is cheapest ebay price)

Note, you can disconnect the E208i-a HBA and use the front ports as SATA via the motherboard onboard ports which lowers cost significantly.

Because it's got the SAS HBA built-in and the LOM slot, you can use the x8 and x16 slots onboard. for other cards. There's an optional riser that's x16 as well. There's also a SD card slot on the board.
