SC846/847 Handle Replacement

I'm finally getting around to replacing my beat up handle on my 847. Anyone have good instructions? It looks like I may need to disassemble the entire front if the case to install the new one. The ribbon cable from the handle to the breakout board is impossible to snake through... thoughts?

You don't need to remove the ribbon cable. If you disassemble the handle (just a few screws), you can pull the ribbon cable out of it instead of the chassis end. Way easier and should take you all of a couple minutes to replace.

That would have been awesome if the ribbon hadn't already come out...ugh.
