Ideas for a portible MiFi VPN ?.

So I am traveling around a bit and have PFSense at home doing ovpn duties for my phone and laptop so I can browse unblocked and access my own movies.

That works ok but now the family are comming with various browsing devices I would like to look at getting or putting something together that will act as a personal MiFi hib and handle the the vpn in one place.

This is a holiday so something not too bulky would be good.

Thoughts / challenges
- Must be able to handle 6 incomming wifi connections.
- Needs an interface to handle captive portals used in coffee shops etc via outgoing wifi.
- Can run off a powerbank.
- Needs to be fairly portable (pocket sized).
- access to the mobile network for internet connectivity a bonus.

Any ideas / suggestions on available products or base hardware and software combos that may fit the bill ?.

Initial thoughts are something like this Raspberry Pi VPN Hotspot (or How To Infuriate Theresa May For Under £40) | Dan Q although I would still need to add another USB device for the mobile network later. I have a couple of RPI 2s laying around but will probably want to look for something a bit more powerful a little later.

Maybe an Edison or something like that would be a decent stepup.
