I'm selling two very lightly used Dell N4032F switches. They were for a project that fell through. I'd estimate they were powered on for about a month, and now have been sitting on a shelf for a year.

They may have some warranty life left on them, but I'm not certain. For some reason the Dell site isn't liking the service tags or service codes when I look them up.

Dell Networking N4000 Series 10GbE Layer 3 Switches | Dell

Highlights
---------

24x 10Gbe SFP+ fixed ports
line rate layer 3 routing
1x modular bay (empty; but can be 2x 10Gbe SFP+ or base-T, 4x 10Gbe SFP+ or base-T, or 2x 40Gbe qsfp!)
2x power supplies
stackable (http://i.dell.com/sites/doccontent/...ll-Networking-N4000-Series-Stacking-Guide.pdf)

Rails included!

I'm asking $1400 each or $2700 for the pair + shipping. Please PM me if you have any questions.

I'm not really in the market for anything at the moment. But doesn't hurt to PM me if you have a trade proposal.

My trade offer still stands :p

What was the project out of curiosity?

Except these are enterprise grade switches, not pro-sumer. They support a full layer 3 feature set, dual power supplies, and available 40g uplink modules. They are also stackable.

Read the spec sheets...not all switches are created equal. These are far and away better than any switches ubiquiti has to offer.

For home use, yeah go with the Ubnt. For serious TOR or spine (MLAG or routed!), you need something like these.

My offer for the DL360 g9 trade still stands. I have to agree with @Zankza I could pickup some 5k's for this price or other consumers. I value each and every switch for their own traits and don't like to compare but the price does seem steep.

Nexus 5k? Layer 2 only unless you get an optional daughter card, which will cost you more than the switch itself, not to mention a layer 3 license. Oh, and good luck downloading any Cisco firmware images without an active smartnet contract.

Show me another switch in this price range that is as good.

B-8000...not terrible, although the ebay listing lies; it is a layer 2 only switch. It's also pretty old, and powerconnect series has a poor track record (although it's brocade chipset).

Anyway, I'm going to keep on trying to sell these things. I'd for sure have an easier time selling the DL360, but it's too much of a hassle to trade just to sell.
