In the output of "fio-status -a" There should be a line right under Firmware...that gives the UEFI Option ROM version. If there is not, then it did not actually add the uefi ROM.

In case this helps anyone else having problems with joining to a cluster/iap campus...
make sure:
1) you have either have allowed the AP on your master (allowed-ap xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx) where xx.. is the AP mac (you should see an alert on your dashboard view or auto-join "allow-new-aps"
2)if not...
Bought one of these and sadly had to return it, it was failing SMART self-test on POST (and I wasn't going to live with disabling that). I can also confirm that the offset works to update the firmware (made no difference to the SMART failure though).
