How many times did you have to repeat it for the SFP GPON to be recognized? I've power-cycled mine 5 or 6 times and still no dice. I get the same thing you were getting before: "sfp-type: (unknown)"

Were you able to solve your PPPoE problems? I am currently having similar issues with CCR-1009 and the only thing I have not tried is actually to fully power-cycle the router. Going to try that later today. Just want to see if you were finally able to get Bell FTTH working?
