    Minis forum MS-A2

I applied JaxJiang settings with -1000 PBO, I also set it to quiet. Still makes a lot of noise, will probably send it back and order an MS-01 instead. I will also get Intel Vpro which might be interesting for remote control.

I don't see any ATX power connector on the board I have seen a kind of "power on AC" option in the bios.

I have recieved a MS-A2 yesterday. Very nice, incredibly fast but.. I am really disapointed by the noise level and worried by CPU temperature. Just typing this post it is between 60 and 70°c. No other application running on a fresh Windows11.

    The Infamous Mikrotik CRS354-48P-4S+2Q+ Thread

The problem is the reliability is random, so for any hobby use, go for it. For any professional use, beware. Never use "the latest hot stuff" and make sure every feature that you will need is completely supported. For this particulat switch, it seems not all models were affected, the issue was...

ASRock Rack B650D4U MicroATX for Ryzen 7000 processors

Until now, all B650D4U boards that have been replaced with serial H10XXXXX are running without issue. BUT previously faulty boards could run for 6 months without showing any sign of trouble. We have also replaced a lot of these with Supermicro so we do not have as many running as before. I...

Intel SSD DC P4500 15.3TB - "Disable Logical State" "NVMe Status 0x4006"- anything to do ?

Unfortunately doesn't work 8 month after the transaction ;) (I tested them when I recieved them, they were perfectly fine - zero hours, zero bytes written)

The layout is indeed not optimal but as a serverboard for virtualization node it would be fine.

Nothing at my side so far, but any information about your drive that that you can give is interesting (model / source / age / serial number known from Solidigm / runtime hours, .....)

Intel SSD DC P4500 15.3TB - "Disable Logical State" "NVMe Status 0x4006"- anything to do ?

Thank you for your input. I have checked my ssd's againt Solidigm online tool and as you can see below, no data is available for these serials. I have Solidigm support by chat, they also checked into their database and they can't find any reference to my serial numbers. But yes, we did not...

Intel SSD DC P4500 15.3TB - "Disable Logical State" "NVMe Status 0x4006"- anything to do ?

One died, mdadm was still working on the survivor, I did a cold shutdown / reboot and both drives where dead. (and on the scond pair of drives I have the same case, one of the raid1 members is dead, but I still have the other running. I am keeping it online as long as possible to run tests)

Intel SSD DC P4500 15.3TB - "Disable Logical State" "NVMe Status 0x4006"- anything to do ?

Really looks like some firmware bug, the drive is detected but "logical state" prevents access to data, so yes instant dead "by firmware". These drive have a very high TBW endurance, even if they are considered read intensive, I don't think that they are worn out. I also had Intel ssd being used...
