I could get the MSI from Thunderbolt 4 to SFP+ (via a QNAP T-310G1S)
Then
I could get the Supermicro PCIe to SFP+ (via a Mellanox card)
This is like $400 though - Any cheaper ideas welcome
Hello, Pros
I have a Supermicro X9DA7 Unraid server and a MSI MEG Z590I UNIFY desktop. I wanted to increase the speed between the two which is now just a LAN.
The MSI has no PCIe available so constraint #1 - But has Thunderbolt 4 I/O available
The Supermicro has many PCIe available available...
Hi again.
Here are my bifurcation settings in bios. Only 1 NVMe shows
Supermicro X9DA7
ASUS Hyper M.2 x16 Card V2 PCIe 3.0 - Qty 2, NVMe installed on card
Hello, I am trying the same thing and set Bifurcation to x4x4x4x4 and only 1 drive shows up. I tried on slot 5 and slot 1 with same and then no drives show up. I am confused.
Can you share your Bios screen and which slot you have the ASUS NVMe card installed?
