The more critical thing is to use all 8 memory channels. Right now, I have a H11SSLi and a H12SSLi. I only have 4 ddr4 sticks, so I would double my bandwidth by going to 8 sticks.

fedora 39 with 6.6.14 kernel works great. With the 6.7.4 kernel it fails to finish booting, and reboots spontaneously. I reported the issue to fedora.

The polarity matters for the LEDs, but not for the power and reset switch. If you get the polarity wrong for the LEDs, they won't light up. Just reverse them if that happens. In my experience the HDD LED does not light up when the NVME M2 drive is active, just the SATA drives.

The issue I found was the boot process would seemingly hand, and never get to the operating system. This is operating system agnostic. There may be other OS specific issues, but if the mb won't get past POST, other problems really don't matter.
