Which is probably why you've got the fan noise. I've got both a M920Q and a P340 Tiny, they have the low TDP processors, and neither has any fan noise of consequence.

On the plus side, it's not like I'm jumping to the 200W TDP level... the 6234s are 130W, the 4110s are 85W. Last time I played with liquid cooling was when I had an Area51 ALX, and the CPU was a 975X, so it's been a while. We'll see how this goes, then I'll figure something out.

So here we are two years later and I'm finally getting in on the T7820 to replace my T5820. Probably looking at a pair of Gold 6234s to replace the 4110s that are coming in it.... but my main question... has anyone here even tried to do aftermarket CPU cooling on this box? I find it...
Those last two ports are ix3 and ix4, but they only run at 1G speeds. pf 2.7.2 has no problem recognizing and using them. I haven't made the jump to 2.8.0 yet.
