"show run" displayed ports 1 and 3 as stack ports, so I connected port 1 ->port 1, created the stack and ran "no stack-port 1/2/3" and "no stack-port 2/2/3". I'm guessing that should make port 3 available as a regular 10G port?
So, thanks to this thread I now have two 6450-24p sitting on my desk, waiting to be configured :-)
