@DRW Sorry numbers are wrong, I mixed them up with my NIC temperatures. In fact CPU temperatures never exceed 63°C so far.Don't exceed 81°C. Keep in mind I use liquid metal thermal paste and "consumer" CPU cooler.

I just realized something weird: those processors arent even listed in the AMD "Buy" section of their website for the US, but they are listed on their website in the EU. Same for DELL, HPE,... - even a search for 7443P on US sites results in nothing. In Europe I can even buy server CPU kits of those servers with 7443P.Does anyone know where to source 7443P in north america?
(or want to sell theirs )
You want it on Power not performance, unless you are trying to sync performance across several servers.Next, set the Determinism Control to Performance.
Are you located in Europe also?I received my 7443p server recently after a couple months of delays from Lenovo. I still see almost no Epyc CPUs for retail sale anywhere near their MSRP.
Do any of these settings translate to Rome?You want it on Power not performance, unless you are trying to sync performance across several servers.
Power= highest performance
Performance= predictable performance
other tweaks, you can play with it xgmi maxlink to 18gbps
fixed soc p state p0
df cstates disabled
NPS 0/1/2/4
tsme on/off
Yep I am on rome, been through a few of the tuning pdfs and they are all pretty much the same for rome/milanDo any of these settings translate to Rome?
Nice. Was that in line with the ETA on their site?Woohooo! My Epyc (7313P) shipping today from shopBLT!!! So stoked!
oh no, I got at least 3-4 emails stating that it is taking longer to source, yadayada.Nice. Was that in line with the ETA on their site?
I assume you already updated the bios to accept the Milan CPU before swapping?7313p arrived today (US) from shopblt. It booted without issue in one of my tyan s8030 boards. same mb was previously using 7502 rome cpu.
