I'll probably try mining tomorrow but for now I'm just setting it up for my usual stuff.I am most curious how it does mining aeon. I am considering picking one of these up to mine aeon and to try modding into an instinct MI25 for MxGPU goodness.
EDIT: I should specify it would mine aeon until the bubble crashes then be moved to VDI
still very poor performance compared to windows driver/tweaks... searched a lot on this and didn't found any proper solution to get high HRates under linux
Yea I knew that from the beginning, but this is my main computer that the only time I mine with the video card is when I'm not on it so its not a huge worry to get the outright highest speed possible and i'm sure someone eventually will figure out how.still very poor performance compared to windows driver/tweaks... searched a lot on this and didn't found any proper solution to get high HRates under linux

You get under 1.3kH/s on 1080 Ti?! I get higher on 780 Ti no overclock.
Have a Vega 56 mining Monero @ around 1600 H/s on Windows. Paid $830 AUD just before Christmas. Expect to pay it off in 6-9 months @ around $4-5 per day. Vega 64's are now $1300+ on ebay!Well, how long is going to take to pay Vega off?
You may be right. Haven't bothered with optimising things. Was just getting my feet wet.Interesting, from what I was reading I expected to see ~2KH/s on Monero and ~4KH/s on aeon... But then again those numbers were from reddit primarily.
780ti is 1/3 fp64 that’s likely whyOn Aeon the GTX 1080Ti its about 1600 H/s and on XMR it gets about 785 H/s completely stock on Ubuntu.
The RX Vega 64 FE gets under 1300 H/s on XMR in Ubuntu totally stock.
I have not tried Aeon yet, should get ~2600-2800 H/s i'd imagine.
