Silicom PEG4IL on eBay for $79 OBO

So I was checking out some Intel quad-port NICs on eBay and happened to spot these. Thinking this is a good deal for a LP quad-port, and I know Silicom is well regarded. Anyway I picked one up for my upcoming ESXi server build, and for less than the BIN price . Figured I would pass it on.

Strange, link I pasted was for the search not the item. Item link here. Yep remember the review. 3x 2port passthrough for VT-d. Nice card.

Presumably the 4 port is 2x 2GB passthrough.

Sorry about that. I thought I put the link in the post. Brain fart.

Anyway, I was wanting a LP card since I am planning a 2U chassis build in the near future and needed to leave my options open. Intel-branded cards seem to always be over $100 for this same configuration. Anyway, the PEG6 and PEG4 seem to be configured exactly the same other than port count and profile, and 4 ports is enough for my needs right now.
