No, Illumos does not use the Open-ZFS repo directly but is "cherry picking" newer ZFS features after additional tests.

Thanks for confirming, I just upgraded and kicked off a 200TB migration. About 20TB in so far and things seem to be going well.

During fixing Bugs in current Open-ZFS, a ZFS bug in the Solaris fork Illumos that was there for a long time was also fixed

Bug #16087: lseek(SEEK_DATA) on ZFS races with writes and can briefly miss data before it is flushed in a txg - illumos gate - illumos
