You need newest available netatalk version 2.2.0p6 from

installation/ update (as root or after a su)

Again, thanks gea! I ended up giving away my Nov 2010 11.6" MacBook Air and got a new 11.6" Sandy Bridge MBA a week and a half ago. Lion is pretty cool except for the things they broke.
