Yep short stroke the 320s and they will last through a ton of writes, PLP too.

Not bad, prefer S3500 120GB drives though for 40-50 bucks, just gotta be a little patient.

Also, this isn't really that small for Server 2012 R2 is it? I'm running R2 on a pair of 120GB S3500s, have plenty of space left, more than 80GB if I recall...(raid 1)

These 100gb intel 710 ssd are GREAT! i have 4 x of them in RAID6 (on a adaptec 5405z) as my boot drive for my win 2008 r2 server, great performance and in my setup the array has seen ALOT of writes and still at 100 on the SMART for Media wear-out indicator (been a little over a year of heavy writes while in raid6 which multiplies the writes even further).
i bought them brand new a little over a year ago when newegg had some crazy deal for them new @ $74.. bought up 4 quickly :) (they were going for $99+ used at the time on ebay)

btw, these 710 drives DO have the Power loss capacitor.
