VLAN setup on this device is a bit odd.
Hope the info below is useful in saving time trawling thru the docs posted previously.

I wanted a tagged VLAN 2 on ports 8 and 10.
The VLAN Tag is called "External VLAN"
Tag type set to "Dbl".




Firmware v1.0.0.6 broke the SNTP function as well as energy saving as mentioned.
I reverted back to v1.0.0.4 and the switch ran about 2C cooler.
My unit shipped with v 1.0.0.4

After installing update 1.0.0.6, indeed, the menus for managing SNTP and power saving are no longer available.
What does "Dbl" mean in the TAG type?

Added port based VLAN on the switch.
Ports 1-3 configured as VLAN ID5 on Bridge ID1

Someone can try to nmap their switch please ?
When I try to scan the ports of the switch with nmap even with a single one it crash/stop to reply to ping and after some seconds reboot even with a good power supply and only one single port connected.

I've just done a quick nmap from a debian host:

The switch is still up and running and no signs of a crash. It is running the 1.0.0.6 firmware.

They solved that with 1.0.0.6 when I have look in May only previous version available 1.0.0.4 and this bug was present. NMAP work too on my switch with 1.0.0.6.

I have another issues with this switch it redirect some traffic even if just the trunk link is plugged without any devices behind. I can look this traffic with port mirroring on main switch. I try to plug another switch and no one received traffic to the "empty" trunk so not understand why this switch received unwanted traffic. Only broadcast should reach this port but have some Internet traffic going there. On ARP table of the main switch only the MAC of the switch appear so not really understand what happen.

Yet unable to reach switch through a VLAN. Management interface is on bridge 0 so I try to redirect any VLAN to bridge 0 but without success.

I'm buying this switch after my ALTI-LINK switch dead. The cause of the death I think because the PSU.
So yeah, when waiting the PSU part to be arrived to my place, I ordered this switch, since it using external adapter, freedom of choice.

So, which one firmware that very stable one for this switch? After seeing the seeskwan download page, sadly, the older firmware not available to download, only the V1.0.0.6

So, I do just figure out that port number 1, which is direction to my BKHD G30W Mini PC running only 100M, but after forcing it to 2500M, it's on 2500M normally

I'm figuring it out when doing speedtest, why it's only running at 100M up and down, so, the culprit is the actual speed on the switch (formerly Auto)

Auto-negotiation failing usually indicates a cable problem. Might be worth looking into.

Either cable damage or bad termination on one or both ends tend to be the culprit, not the cable length (as long as it's within spec). I would try with a factory terminated cable, just to see if it makes a difference.

BASE-T auto-negotiation is reliable enough that its use is mandatory on 1000BASE-T and above if I'm not mistaken. In other words, devices allowing you to force link rates above 100BASE-T are actually out of spec.

Hello,
My Xikestor SKS3200-8E2X arrived with 1.0.0.5 firmware. I’ve tried to update it, but the upload firmware is stuck at 99% and nothing happen. Refresh the page and it still in 1.0.0.5 version. Do i need to disable DHCP, connect a computear directly and reach the switch with 192.168.10.12 ip to be able to update it ? The firmware come from the official site.
