Just saw these in the CDW Outlet when looking for something else. Normal CDW caveats apply--open box, clearance condition or could even be bnib, and all with full manufacturer's warranty and CDW return policy. Call to check stock and place a phone order vs online. Usually only one qty per cdw part number, but when you call for stock, ask as they sometimes can have more than one. Enjoy!

Edit: Even though the CDW description calls these platinum, they are actually gold.

Pretty sure it's just a Xeon Gold 5122, since there is no Platinum SKU with that number.
Not a jab at the quality of this deal, it's just when I read Platinum, I think of more expensive CPUs. 790$ would be a killer deal in that case.

4 Cores 8 Threads for $789 in December 2019 ?
It's a $1000+ processor anywhere else I looked for it, even ebay. I don't know why it has that spec, but the going rate for the processor is much higher than what I found it for, hence deal for someone that wants this particular processor.

Yep, I just copied the description they had and it's wrong--it is gold as you mention and I've corrected the title. :)
