Hey guys,

just found this: Xeon E5-2697v4 ES, its an early stepping but should run in the usual LGA2011-3 Supermicro mainboards. Price is only $19 with free shipping.

I bought 2, actually I am waiting to see what happens. Seems to be too good to be true! Might be cancelled soon.

It's weird - there were 4 left, now there's more than 10. I'm a little skeptical of this, since these chips apparently sell for a LOT more.

He filled up 4 to 8 when I bought it too.
But its Paypal, so why worry;)

It's a hacked account. These types of "deals" popup all the time. You'll get your money back eventually.

Are they a legit store or a site getting credit card info to sell to criminals? No feedback from buyers for this chip.

Well, I just bought 2....Probably hacked account but still had to take the risk for the gamble for getting a once in a lifetime deal. eBay will refund me if it's fraud.....

The seller's account has previously only been used for selling women's clothes and rugs. That should increase your skepticism.

When the item location is the UK and its offering me free United States Postal Service shipping to the UK, you know something is fishy...

P.S. We also have a nosediving different currency and yet the auction is in dollars

womens clothes obviously means nothing, have a look at kalleyomalley / oemxs ... o_O
The thread isn't about whether known reputable sellers sell both clothes and computer products, the thread is about whether a particular listing is coming from a hacked eBay account.

When the account is suspected of being hacked because it suspiciously lists a product for pennies on the dollar, and the listed item is very different from the products the account has sold in the past, the latter circumstance further suggests that the account has been hacked.

you are right, I should have checked before posting. I was just getting too excited.

If its a hacked account I hope the account owner does not get into more trouble! I'll post how thing go.

The item has been removed now. Can those who purchased check if the product is still effective in their purchase history record?

Yup, it was a fraud. I purchased two and got an email from eBay saying the same thing. Had to open up a case with eBay and have to go through their due process to get refunded.
