Picked up a few of these x99 DDR3 motherboards a while ago. Seems like a great deal with all those cheap E5-2673v3, E5-2676v3 and E5-2678v3's out there. Combining them with the E5-2673v3's i got this week at 100 euro's each it makes a decent workstation or perhaps a home server?

All these DDR3 x99 motherboards have the same compatibility, even if some are not mentioned. E5-2629v3, E5-2649v3, E5-2669v3, E5-2673v3, E5-2676v3, E5-2678v3, E5-2686v3 (not 100% sure) E5-2696v3 (i also tested with ES QEY8 2696v3 which for some reason is a 14-core and 3.0ghz turbo).

Only tested with registered DDR3 ECC memory at 1333/1600/1866mhz.

X99 AD3 - €103,- I purchased from another seller but found this offer on aliexpress US $111.88 21% OFF|HUANANZHI X99 AD3 Motherboard with M.2 NVMe Slot LGA2011 3 DDR3 4 Channel 4 x USB3.0 10 x SATA3.0 Ports-in Motherboards from Computer & Office on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group

JINGSHA X99 - €90,- This one seems more interesting as its cheaper and has 8 dimm slots (up to 256GB DDR3). Wish i got this one instead, someone on this forums has some tests results on it as well i believe. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000083599095.html

E5-2673 v3 - €91,- (make sure to use a eBay euro website if you pay in euro's to avoid double conversion fees) SR1Y3 INTEL XEON E5-2673V3 2.40GHz 30M 12 CORES 5GT/s 105W PROCESSOR 656541856011 | eBay

Maybe this isn't a good deal at all, who knows, i just figured it would be unfair to keep my deals all to myself.

I'm quite puzzled by this flurry of "old stock" x79-x99 era motherboards.

Da Na, Na Na, Da Na, Na Na, fake sh***!

What's interesting about the video is the smiling ladies in the background that their 'high tech ripoff crap' is actually getting some media attention. Probably everyone else at the show was laughing and making such gestures.

There is room for older tech, but that doesn't make it right to use that room to create fakes and unauthorized products. The global world has hurt a lot of legit companies.

Really tempted with the JINGSHA X99, but I never bought anything worth more than a few $ on aliexpress... I see that several sellers have this board.

I have one of the Haunanzhi boards (though mine is DDR4), and for some reason proxmox would always lock up on it. Memtest would run for hours straight but proxmox would always die. Tried different drives, and even disabled the shitty realtek nic and dropped in an intel one.

Could never figure out why, found a super micro X10 SRL-F that I replaced it with in the end.

Fun to watch. GHT was one of the manufacturers I avoided due to their bad product quality and undeveloped bios. The quality just really varies between some of the manufacturers which makes everything more confusing. I run 1650v2s at 4.1Ghz without any problem on the huanan boards which is more than enough for me.

China boards will always have some 'quirks' so for some its just not a good deal, but all in all i am satisfied with what you get for the price.

Does this Board support IOMMU/VT-d for SR-IOV VFs?
