Xeon E3-1265L support ECC or not ?

This CPU is proving to be confusing.

Intel specs say yes http://ark.intel.com/products/65728/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E3-1265LV2-(8M-Cache-2_50-GHz)

Xeon Wiki and a few other sites say no http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Xeon_microprocessors

Intel specs have proven to be very flawed, I hope it does support ECC.

I could just risk it and get one for my HTPC build,as I'll both ECC and non ECC RAM to use with it

Seems odd to leave out ECC. Even the 1220L V2 seems to support it, so it does not look to be power related. The chip it is replacing(1260L) also supported ECC.

Also, interesting to note is the HD graphics and not the Px000 version. So it does seem more desktop oriented.

Its very similar to the I7-3770T CPU, almost the same according to Intel
EXCEPTthe E3-1265L does not support these:
Thermal Monitoring Technologies
Intel® Fast Memory Access
Intel® Flex Memory Access

But does support ECC where as the 3770T does not.

Wiki states the HD Graphics on the 1265L as HD2500 and the 3770T as P4000, Intel has both as P4000
Wiki may have pre-release data.

Xeon = ECC support. Not sure why wikipedia is behind on this.

CPU-world didn't help as it doesn't confirm it either for the 1265L

Pays to make sure in this modern world where nothing is for certain.
