Hey,

I want to setup a server for VM's, but i would like to get the new Haswell Xeons for less power consumption vs a socket 2011 setup.
Has anyone seen any Xeon E3-1200 v3 Motherboards with 10GBase-T? or AMD opteron 6300 motherboards?

Stick to SFP (DAC/optics) to save power. 10GBASE-T dual nic ports are too power hungry in many cases.

My two file servers already have 10Gbe Copper, and i have a spare 10Gbe nic for my gaming rig for when i get a 10GBase-T switch at the start of next year.
