I can't for the life of me get v2 chips to boot on this motherboard. v1 chips seem to boot fine. Is it possible that v1.01A boards don't support v2 chips?

Thanks for the reference point. No idea what i might be doing wrong. Tried 2 different 2600v2 chips and both show no display on boot. V1 1620 boots no issues.

If I'm not mistaken the supermicro REV has to be 1.2 to be able to support the V2 Family E5-2600 Family. I had a Recent problem with the X9DRI-LN4F+ REv. 1.10 That I purchased. I ended up getting a Rev. 1.20 Motherboard and BAM! Worked like a charm.
Here is the User Manual I searched CPU and it was the 9th Find Down it says
Supports a single Intel® E5-1600/E5-2600 series processor (2011-pin, Socket R)

No mention of V2, which is very strange Supermicro doesn't have to much Info on the board revisions.

The only revisions of this board I have are 1.01A and 1.02. 1.02 seem to work correctly with v2. But again i could be doing something wrong with this 1.01a board...

So a bit of an update here. I did find this information:
FAQ Entry | Online Support | Support - Super Micro Computer, Inc.

This seems to allude to revision vs chip generation issues. I ended up ordering another X9SRW-F board from ebay which specified 1.02 revision. I got the board in and it was unfortunately a 1.01A revision. For shits and giggles I updated the board and it works correctly with v2 CPUs. Does that mean this board was modified?
