Don't know if it is a real steal, but the price, size, load, slots, brand and even the seller are nice.

If I hadn't jumped on the deal from Natex, I'd be very tempted.

Humm curious how they fit 196GB Ram 24x8gb in 16 slots.... I think the pic of the Mobo is wrong.

Correct, it's the wrong photo (the image is of an X9DRF-6). The link (in the table) of the motherboard descriptor to the SM web page is correct though. I think that it's the "+" on the end of the X9DRi-LN4F+ that identifies that the board has 24 DIMM slots

What's weird is the item description text that I'm seeing on my eBay app on my phone lists both 2 X e5-2660 and then later it shows 2 X e5-2670 CPUs, either way it looks like there is some kind of good deal here but definitely check with the seller for the exact specs.

Mr. Rackables is an excellent eBay seller- I have bought several SMicro servers from him (some were amazing deals!) and every ebay purchase from him has been packed excellently and the entire transaction handled perfectly. Check w him if you are interested in this listing though.
