Hi,
I have trouble updating the firmware.
All nvmupdate versions from intel say update is no available.
ethtool -i ens4f1
driver: i40e
version: 2.0.19
firmware-version: 4.10 0x800011c5 0.0.0
expansion-rom-version:
bus-info: 0000:02:00.1
supports-statistics: yes
supports-test: yes
supports-eeprom-access: yes
supports-register-dump: yes
supports-priv-flags: yes
I am tempted to modify the nvmupdate.cfg file and put 800011c5 in one of the device 1572 entries.
But there are two firmware image to choose from:
X710DA4 and
X710DA4FH.
My card does not look like the X710DA4FH but this one OEM new one X710-DA4 4-port 10Gbps SFP+ PCIe 3.0 x8 10Gbps Ethernet network card | eBay .
Anybody tried this before?
