Update: Just reflash the BMC firmware with NVRAM box unchecked. The Hardware infomation page unchanged. Still reads iXsystem
My last attempt would be to use Supermicro Update Manager (SUM) as it seems to have access to DMI info.

If that fail, then I have no choice to return it while it is returnable until Sunday (I live in Canada so it cost over $100CAN to ship)

Update again: Just tried SUM and I export the DMI info, edit and reupload it back.
Reboot and I got this (unchanged):

[System]
Manufacturer {SYMF} = "iXsystems" // string value
Product {SYPD} = "TRUENAS-R20B" // string value
Version {SYVS} = "1.0" // string value
Serial Number {SYSN} = "R1-106289" // string value
UUID {SYUU} = 00000000-0000-0000-0000-3CECEF6184B8 // 4-2-2-2-6 formatted 16-byte hex values
// Bytes[ 0-3 ]: The low field of the timestamp
// Bytes[ 4-5 ]: The middle field of the timestamp
// Bytes[ 6-7 ]: The high field of the timestamp (multiplexed with
// the version number)
// Bytes[ 8-9 ]: The clock sequence (multiplexed with the variant)
// Bytes[10-15]: The spatially unique node identifier
// Byte Order :
// UUID {00112233-4455-6677-8899-AABBCCDDEEFF} is stored as
// 33 22 11 00 55 44 77 66 88 99 AA BB CC DD EE FF
SKU Number {SYKN} = "To be filled by O.E.M." // string value
Family {SYFM} = "To be filled by O.E.M." // string value

So it is a loss cause. I googled and it says you need OOB license key to change Manufacturer info

Did you try running ipmicfg with a live Linux ISO, directly on the board?

OK, more update:

So I was ready to generate the OOB license and I notice the license is already entered..(?)

So I use SUM to try to see if I can replace the license key...

But before doing that, I decided to pass by Hardware info and guess what.....

Anything related to iXsystem is gone !!!

So I quickly grab a SSD, hook it up and install Truenas, and go straight to the UI:

and this

The create pool wizard has no more error!!

And the enclosure page is gone too!!!

I think last night I forgot to powercycle after I upload the new DMI file........

So now I have to shutdown my old rig, move my hardware to the new board (AGAIN) and reinstall Truenas (AGAIN)

I might have just saved $100+ shipping.
