Well this was originally listed at $499 OBO and now it is listed at $599 OBO. I personally don't like price increases on listings - ebay or elsewhere - but that's the seller's choice. The 1520 is $489 new at newegg but it's still great that @MiniKnight pointed this deal out given that this motherboard is around $1000 new even now.
@dave I wil lsay @MiniKnight did post it as $499 but I edited the title when I clicked through. Too bad nobody got at $499. If that seller would take $499 on the best offer it would be a steal (it even is at this price.)
Agreed @Patrick that @MiniKnight had it right when he thoughtfully alerted us to it at $499 but unfortunately the eBay seller upped the price ...
For you folks who've been keeping eyes out for this type of thing far longer than I, does the lack of ESD precautions in the pictures diminish your confidence in these sellers, specifically for that amount of money? That particular seller states 'no returns'. So, how good are board manufacturers (Supermicro) at warranty claims for second hand boards?
