I assembled a new NAS system this weekend using the X10SDV-4C+-TLN4F board in a
CSE-721TQ-250B tower. So far I'm very happy. There's only 1 thing that I'm slightly concerned about:

The 5V Dual value shows up as "5V Dual Lower Critical 3.38 Volts"

Running impitool, I can see it as well.
root@nasbox:/home/marc# ipmitool sensor list | grep "5V Dual"

5V Dual | 3.380 | Volts | nr | 4.244 | 4.298 | 4.487 | 5.378 | 5.540 | 5.594

In a release note document I found over at ftp://ftp.abacus.cz/support/FW/MB/SUPERMICRO/IPMI/X10_REDFISH/3.40/ReleaseNote.txt , I can see this:

Category: HW workaround
Description:
[72239] 5V dual is lower critical
[72238] 5V dual is lower critical
[72115] FAN mode didn't show optimal mode
[72058] No FAN-A reading

Impact motherboard: X10SDV-xxC-TLN4F+, X10SDV-4C-TLN2BF
Affected functions:
Validation :
1. Please confirm HW if GPIOH2 and GPIOH3 are reworked
2. Check sensor reading web gui

But I'm not 100% sure about what this means for me. Is the board faulty? Is this a false alarm?
So far the system seems perfectly stable.

Any ideas?

The solution was: Reset the BMC to factory defaults. Odd but worked.
