Can anyone confirm that the SuperMicro X10SDV-2C-TLN2F supports x4/x4/x4/x4 PCIe bifurcation on the x16 slot? I am having difficulty confirming this information without buying it on the hopes that it does.

Thanks!

Yeah, I did and they said it does support bifurcation and pointed me back to the manual :(. I read a few threads that suggest the X10SDV supports x4x4x4x4, but that seems to conflict with the manual and I am not sure if it applies to all X10SDV variants.

Just looking for confirmation.
Hey mate,

Just wondering if you ended up purchasing this SoC, and if so, if you were able to get 4x4x4x4 bifurcation working.

I'm looking at purchasing a X10SDV-6C-TLN4F, and while I recognise it's a different model, I'm struggling to find solid accounts of people getting 4x4x4x4 bifurcation working.

Thanks

I asked Supermicro support exactly that question. They sent a screenshot and that Bifurcation can be set to 4x/4x/4x/4x for SLOT7 of the board (the PCIe x16). I didn't end up buying the board so I can't say for sure. Bought a M11SDV instead...

X10SDV-4C-TLN2F absolutely supports 8x4x4 and 4x4x4x4 using latest bios. The former I tested because that is my target deployment . the quad 4 I tested because I was curious. Here are pics of of an 8x4x4 configuration. board is courtesy of Christian Payne (c_payne), its a custom version of one of his existing risers. The custom variant supports dual sideded nvme. The riser has dual PM963's installed.
